Responsibilities:
This opening is in the Distribution Warehouse, which is responsible for order processing functions such as picking, packing and shipping pharmaceutical orders to sales reps, wholesalers, and retailers. Distribution Technicians typically rotate through a variety of roles related to performing these functions.
Pick and pack customer orders. This includes interaction with the warehouse management system via a handheld RF device. Material is picked by using RF device to scan product license plate. Validated packing requirements must be followed precisely. When pick/pack function is complete, order is weight checked to verify accuracy. Orders are consolidated by license plate to ship units. Packing list and ship label are printed and included with shipment.
Responsible for complying with FDA, TSA and OSHA requirements.
Responsible for ensuring that all training identified in his/her individual training plan (ITP) is current and complete.
Constantly look for improvements in productivity, compliance, and data accuracy.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a high school degree or equivalent
Completion of Post Offer Exam or Completion of Work Simulation if applicable.

Additional Preferences:
Experience working with an electronic warehouse management system
Such as SAP, Exacta Worldlink and RF scanners
Must have experience in international picking, packing, labeling and shipping policies and procedures.
Experience with pharmaceutical destruction process.
Experience with IATA, TSA and Hazardous waste process.
Experience operating pallet jacks and Stand up Powered Industrial Trucks is required.
Demonstrated accuracy and attention to details
Must be flexible and willing to be cross-trained to perform multiple assignments
Must be willing to work overtime with little notice
Must be reliable and have a good work attendance history
Demonstrated computer skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Demonstrated a high productivity rate in previous assignments
Must be able to complete basic math, such as adding and subtracting, and multiplying and dividing.
Counting large number of items and have an accurate count
Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
Experience operating pallet jacks and powered industrial trucks
Must be willing to work a portion of the workday in a chilled environment (36-46F)
Standing, lifting (up to 40 lbs.) and bending are required.

Work Shift: Day shift - 8 hour days Mon-Fri
No known allergies to antibiotics.
This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend annually for up to 4 years.
