WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Production Intern, you will work closely with the creative team to understand project requirements and present options that align with overall objectives, while handling tasks assigned by the PM or COM. You will anticipate and address potential challenges throughout the production process, assisting the Creative Operations Manager in planning and executing video/photoshoots and coordinating logistics. Additionally, you will support post-production efforts by updating the video library, maintaining storage, providing footage summaries, and ensuring all content adheres to brand guidelines and visual standards.

WHERE YOU'LL WORK

This position will work a hybrid schedule from our Gilbert, AZ office location.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with creative team to understand project requirements/objectives.
  •  Present options that help support overall ideas and deliverables.
  •  Work on assigned tasks as requested and assigned by PM or COM.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and address potential challenges during the pre-production, production, and post-production stages.
  • Pre-Production:
    • Assist Creative Operations Manager in planning, organizing, and executing plans for in-house and contracted video/photoshoots from conception to completion in close collaboration with Creative Director. Projects may range from hand-held shoots with one Director of Photography (DP) to large scale projects.
    • Assist Creative Operations Manager in coordinating shoot logistics, timeline, milestones, including talent, crew, locations, equipment, and support services.
    • Assist Creative Operations Manager with comprehensive directory of contacts (photographers, videographers, models, stylists, locations, etc.)
  • Post-Production and Editing:
    • Assist Producer in updating video library to reflect NASM brand updates, especially in regards to larger website projects.
    • Assist Producer in maintaining storage of footage and photography library.
    • Assist Producer in providing dailies and summary of shots/footage for CD.
    • Support in-house team with modern, fresh, and clean post-production for all marketing channels as needed.
    • Follow brand guidelines, tone, and visual elements established by in-house team and under direction of CD.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an editor for video and photo (2+ years & portfolio preferred)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of the video and photography production process
  • Familiarity with industry trends
  • Ability to be on your feet for multiple hours a day for on-location video shoots
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and applications
  •  Independent, proactive, and ability to manage/deliver multiple projects on time
