SUPERVISOR - DASH KITCHEN (Finance)
Responsible for the supervision and direction of the dining staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Will work closely with upper management and co-managers to insure all new products, training methods, policies and procedures are included in current and future training programs.
• Will be involved in the development of new handbooks and training manuals.
• Will have knowledge of dining fundamentals.
• Basic knowledge of food, liquor, beer and wine as associated with casual dining establishment.
• Will have the ability to communicate verbally and through written documents to staff, co-managers and upper management.
• Responsible for handling guests in all situations maintaining a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor at all times.
• All other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
Must be energetic, highly self-motivated and independent. Must possess proven leadership qualities. Must have the ability to recognize operational needs and analyze and facilitate the changes required in a fast paced, high volume environment. Must be able to stand and/or work on feet for extended period of time and must be able to repeatedly lift up to twenty pounds. Two+ years of prior hands-on experience in a dining room or food service atmosphere is a necessity. Must have basic computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel knowledge. Required to attend all company and departmental meetings and training programs as directed by upper- management.
Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
Must be at least 21. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must be able to pass a background investigation. Subject to pre-employment drug screening.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
