POSITION SUMMARY
The Service General Manager has responsibility for the success of the Earthmoving Service Department as measured by customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, safety, growth, profitability, and the overall success of the Earthmoving Division. This position is expected to positively engage with all Earthmoving Departments for the ultimate success of our customers and the division. The Service General Manger will actively participate in companywide activities to enhance success for all divisions and their customers. Sharing and using best practices is a fundamental of the job. The Service General Manager will coordinate service efforts between Sitech West and Holt of California, ensuring the customer receives top level support for their equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises 3 managers and 1 supervisor. This role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the service departments efforts for the Earthmoving Division. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
