Equifax is looking for an I-9 Administrator to join our team. Receives and responds to escalated telephone and written requests from clients contacts at mid levels of client organizations, account managers, and internal staff related to technical issues or account maintenance needs. Resolves the issue or engages other technical resources in order to resolve, tracks progress through resolution, and effectively communicates the resolution to the requestor.
What You'll Do
Process and maintain Form I-9s.
Perform E-Verify process on new-hires and rehires to ensure employment eligibility.
Monitor E-Verify exceptions to final resolution.
Upload Form I-9 document information to vendor management systems.
Complete work authorization updates for current employees.
Assist in new-hire orientations.
Respond to inquiries by phone and electronic communications timely.
Monitor I-9s due for updates in the software system.
Assist with training and onboarding of newly hired I-9 Administrators.
Investigates access, configuration, compliance, functionality issues, as well as troubleshoots using different production and support applications, file archives, logs.
Operates at a Tier 2 level.
What Experience You'll Need
High school degree or equivalent
Knowledge of I-9 compliance and E-Verify regulations.
Knowledge of foreign visas & USCIS guidelines.
Proficiency with Macbooks
