Quality Improvement Coordinator (Project Management)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform duties assigned by the Quality Improvement Manager
Conduct audit related activities including obtaining and analyzing data, reviewing records, supporting documentation, and completed audit work papers, completing audit findings worksheets, and submitting audit findings for review, discussion, update, and approval.
Monitors pharmacy related processes and data for compliance and accuracy. Identifies trends.
Performs ongoing assessment and monitoring of pharmacy related areas.
Assist with the development of training and training materials for new and existing employees.
Work with internal teams to standardize training processes and systems.
Assists and coordinates any QI Projects as needed.
Implements and maintains department objectives to ensure compliance of JCAHO accrediting.
Ensure Compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
Continue to educate by attending department in-services and by keeping up with local, state, federal and company law and regulations changes.
QUALIFICATIONS
H.S. diploma or equivalent
Registered with New Jersey Board of Pharmacy
Long Term Care Pharmacy experience: at least a year
Knowledge of the Pharmacy floor area a plus.
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
Uses good judgment and independent decision-making
Must be detail oriented
Microsoft Excel; Frameworks.
Ability to be mobile in performing job duties
Day or Mid-shift
