New England Biolabs, Inc
Summer Internship - Non-Laboratory (R&D)
New England Biolabs offers paid summer internship opportunities for students to gain real-world experience in the biotechnology industry. These internships are designed for students currently attending undergraduate college or students entering college in Fall 2023. Interns are involved in projects related to business operations, including Marketing, IT, Customer Service, Technical Support, and Environmental Health and Safety, and receive supervision from the NEB employee to which they are assigned.
Students enrolled in an undergraduate college or 2023 high school graduates entering an academic program pursuing a bachelor's degree in the Fall of 2023.
Interns must be authorized to work in the United States.
The application process for summer internships opens in mid-January and extends through the end of February 2023.
Resume review, candidate interviews (phone), and candidate selections occur between late January – mid-March.
Interns may work between May - August 2023.
Interns are invited to attend internal and external weekly seminars. The purpose of the in-house seminar is to provide students with an overview of NEB research and development and to help interns see how their projects fit into the big picture. The external seminars, presented by invited speakers, expose students to various scientific fields.
Interns are given the opportunity to present their summer work in a formal talk or at a poster session to the NEB community in August.
Please submit a resume and cover letter for consideration.
