Summary - basic function of the role

The Enerpac Sales Operations Supervisor will oversee our Milwaukee, WI-based sales operations specialist team, while also serving as a contributing member of the Americas Enerpac sales operation team. The team consists of sales operations specialists that support our North American and Latin American distributors and also serves as the issue resolution and escalation team for our Brazil-based order entry team. Daily responsibilities include managing schedules, ensuring customer support phone coverage, coaching and mentoring the team, and filling in on issue resolution topics as required. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Americas Sales Operations, serve as a critical voice for Enerpac and Hydratight's global sales operations strategy, structure, and processes. Success is measured by ensuring the optimum customer experience and customer satisfaction, timely processing of customer orders and sales operations cases, and leading efforts to improve systems and software to make sales operations more efficient. This role will be required to be in office at either our Deer Park, TX, or downtown Milwaukee, WI, office from Monday to Thursday. Fridays are authorized for remote work, but this policy is subject to change.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage our Milwaukee, WI-based team of sales operations specialists supporting the Americas Enerpac business.
  • Be an expert in our Oracle ERP systems for commercial functions (to include order management troubleshooting, product information, availability information, customer account data, and customer bill-to and ship-to location data). Serve as the back-up for systems work when other Oracle experts are out of office.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints or escalations related to order processing, item pricing, invoices, additional charges, and shipments. This may include working with our shipping carriers to troubleshoot or re-route shipments as required.
  • Build collaborative relationships with operations, supply chain, and product teams to resolve ordering delays, research temporary product deactivations, and expedite long-lead time items to meet customer timelines. Every effort should be made to satisfy our customer's timeline and preserve each order.
  • Ensure customer credits and debits are processed correctly to include requests for Inventory Stock Return adjustments applying Enerpac stock return policies or resolution of sales order discrepancy issues, pricing errors, item shortage or overage shipments.
  • Ensure assigned teams provide accurate product model information, pricing & availability, payment terms, and shipment terms to assigned distributors upon request.
  • Ensure pricing support for price-upon-request items or special pricing / price variance requests to include approvals per our delegation of authority matrix and quote generation and delivery.
  • Maintain knowledge of current product pricing policies and learn new product information as required. Be one of the final approvers of all price changes in the system and maintain responsibility for our master customer and price lists for the Americas.
  • Support the Americas field sales team through regular meeting attendance and serving as a sales operations liaison to the product, supply chain, and operations teams.

Skills and Competencies
  • Highly technical with demonstrated ability to use Oracle, Microsoft Office products, and MS Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to schedule changes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to build relationships and influence with cross-functional teams to drive action from operations, supply chain, product, and sales team members.

Education and Experience

Associate degree in business, sales, or a similar field; or 4 or more years Sales, Sales Support or Customer Service; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience with Enerpac and Oracle is preferred.

Physical Demands

Employee may have to lift documents/work materials up to 30 pounds in weight. Employee may have to lift tools up to 100 pounds in weight. Employee will have to be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations, including traveling by air/auto to remote sites. This can include occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like. Employee will need to listen, understand, and speak with team members in person, telephonically, and electronically at all levels within a diverse workforce and with supported organizations. Employee can work in front of a personal computer and telephone for long periods of time. Will have repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Work Environment

Primary work environment is temperature-controlled office setting or a typical warehouse environment but may also be visiting different customers where following appropriate safety protocols at the location would be required. While in the warehouse or visiting customers, employee may be exposed to high/low temperatures, outdoor elements (such as precipitation and wind), high levels of noise, hazardous conditions, poor ventilation, small and/or enclosed spaces, or adverse environmental conditions.
