  • Review and support approval of Expense Authorization (EAs), ensuring business case integrity and financial justification.
  • Track project approval status, funding, and progress against financial gates and milestones.
  • Ensure proper capitalization and timely project close-out in collaboration with Accounting and Project Management teams.

Reporting & Analysis
  • Develop and deliver insightful reports and dashboards for CapEx tracking, committed vs. actual spend, and project variance analysis.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for leadership.
  • Support month-end close processes including accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations related to CapEx and construction-in-progress (CIP).

Cross-Functional Business Support
  • Serve as the Finance partner to Engineering and Operations for all CapEx-related matters.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to monitor vendor commitments and support cost management initiatives.
  • Work to align CapEx planning with broader financial forecasts and cash flow planning.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in FP&A, project finance, or capital budgeting—preferably supporting technical functions such as Engineering or Operations.
  • Strong understanding of CapEx processes, project accounting, and fixed asset lifecycle management.
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) and financial planning tools.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
