Summary
Epiq is a global third-party administrator of legal services. Design Operations is a highly technical cross-functional department involved with Epiq's print and mail division. We handle large volumes of data and mailings for millions of recipients. Our work is deadline driven and often court ordered, requiring our team to quickly move between tasks and shift priorities. There are three divisions within our department: Design QA, Design Engineering, and the Workforce Team. The Design QA Lead is a member of leadership with their peers Design Development Engineer Leads and Project Leads.
Design QA Leads balance supporting our production workload, special project initiatives, training new members of the Design QA Team and first-level escalations. Supporting our production workload includes being responsible for reviewing data merges and document logic for dynamic mailings to verify output. This will leverage their knowledge of quality analysis techniques as well as developmental editing to be successful in this role. They are the main point of contact regarding department processes and procedures and for finding solutions to project roadblocks. They are expected to collaborate with other leads, members of their team, and supervisors to support the department's mission.
Job Description (Associate) File processor
This position is responsible for processing print files for production. This includes the processing and merging of data files containing large volumes of record counts. Additionally, there will be a need to learn some proprietary software specific to Epiq processing.
Job Responsibilities
Accurately merge multiple batches from multiple sources as outlined in service requests
Perform daily processing of data containing print files, reports, and work orders for distribution of print
Maintains positive, enthusiastic attitude
Multitask between multiple service requests and update status changes and service request completions in an accurate and timely manner
Anticipate file issues to troubleshoot or quickly escalate to resolve them.
Job Requirements
Knowledge of direct mail file processing and Data Management tools and techniques
Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills, including attention to precise details and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, highly dynamic atmosphere and react quickly to changes
Able to problem solve when faced with unexpected delays or situations and or escalate to the appropriate team.
Must be able to manage multiple objectives and tasks simultaneously and be able to adjust immediately to changing priorities as set forth by management. #LI-DNI
