Youth Programs Coordinator (Finance)
Make decisions regarding youth programs in collaboration with the Youth Program Manager
Assist with evaluation and supervision of the Youth Programs staff
Hold periodic Youth Programs staff meetings to review procedures, policies, department changes, etc.
Assist with all issues and injuries in youth programs; complete and submit proper documentation
Assist in training new staff on policies and procedures
Ensure staff is following and maintaining proper policies & procedures
Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed, required, or assigned by the Youth Program Manager and/or the General Manager
Youth Development Programs
Organize youth development programs and classes with the Youth Program Director
Organize and update rosters and binders
Create and maintain curriculums for classes
Collect payments for youth programs prior to start of program
Evaluate and make changes to improve each program with the Youth Program Director
Provide quality guest service for youth programs and other guests
Schedule, organize, staff and direct youth programs
Hold monthly staff /team building meetings
Communicate with parents and staff regarding upcoming events and programs
Maintain Youth Program budget
General
Order supplies and equipment when necessary and within budgeting requirements
Make decisions regarding Youth Programs in collaboration with the Youth Program Director
Create and maintain new youth development programs with Youth Program Director
Reach out to potential vendors for new programs with the Youth Program Director
Assist in creating invoices for vendor programs
Attend marketing events as directed by the Youth Program Manager
Reach out to local organizations such as daycares and churches to expand class offerings
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with the management and supervision a total of 10-30 employees in various youth programs.
Assist with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these classes.
Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training employees; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Maintain appropriate records for tracking coaching time for incentive program.
Reconcile and award for retention in a timely manner.
Perform the duties of the Youth Programs Manager in his or her absence.
