Data Analytics Manager - Long -Term Care (Information Technology)

Prudential's Long-Term Care (LTC) team is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Data Analytics Manager. This position will be part a high-performance data analytics team driving strategic insights and data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role involves managing and supporting data projects, developing analytical frameworks and reporting, and collaborating with various departments to enhance business performance.
 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data analytics strategies to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify analytical needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Oversee the collection, cleansing, and analysis of large datasets to uncover trends and patterns.
  • Create data models, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings to executives and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security across all analytics processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in data analytics.
  • Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to optimize reporting infrastructure.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Support the development of predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
  • Develop and implement infrastructure for EDBS operational reporting.
  • Responsible for LTC vendor reporting
  • Execute monthly, quarterly and annual risk and compliance reporting.
  • Serve as point of contact for ad hoc reporting requests from multiple disciplines within the LTC business.
  • Responsible for accuracy and documentation of monthly vendor payments
  • Facilitating process review meetings, including documentation of findings and key decisions
  • Performing business needs, data and/or process impact analyses and documenting findings/recommendations
  • Documenting process flows and business requirements as needed.
  • Uses analysis of business measurements to explain metrics trends within LTC business.
  • Communicating results (in writing and verbally) to management and other stakeholders
  • Fostering a continuous process improvement and risk/control conscious environment
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for designing reporting mechanisms at both the operational and senior management level
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in data analytics or similar technology role
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Redshift, Python, R, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Proficient in MS Access & Excel, Project, Visio and VB. Net
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational and documentation skills
  • Strong communication, presentation and collaborating skills
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working within cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Redshift, Google Cloud, Azure) a plus.

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $118,700.00 to $176,600.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
