Lead Electrical Engineer (Finance)



The Antenna Center of Excellence (ACOE) has an immediate opening in Norcross, Georgia, USA for a Lead Electrical Engineer. Responsibilities will be to perform the following design and factory support activities for products in development and in production.

  • Electrical Hardware Engineering
  • Produce requirements, cost and schedule for electronics hardware
  • Design of analog or digital electrical circuits
  • Create schematics and parts list
  • PBA level detailed design, verification and qualification

  • Products are designed for commercial, science and military applications on a wide range of platforms including ground stations and vehicles, marine craft, aircraft, satellites and other spacecraft.
  • Activities entail a mix of design, simulation and hands-on lab work; directing the work of assemblers, technicians and others; supporting business development activities including proposals and customer interfacing; providing regular project schedule and cost updates.
  • Some domestic and international travel required, typically less than 2 weeks per year.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • 6+ years EE engineering experience; MSEE or above will be considered in lieu of experience
  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance (SECRET/TOP SECRET)
  • Experience performing and leading electrical hardware design.
  • Experience in Ferrite Phase Shifter Driver Design, requiring attention to switching speed, noise immunity, phase resolution and accuracy, reciprocity and repeatability or similar circuitry.
  • Experience in flash memory subsystems design, (linearization and reciprocity tables): digital command interface design, power requirements specifications, power conditioning, interface PBA to driver PBA connector specification and selection or similar circuitry.

Additional Qualifications

  • MSEE or PhD desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive; able to independently formulate and execute plans and deliver on commitments.
  • Able to work in a cross-functional, globalized team environment.
