Human Resources Leadership Development Program - Summer Intern (On-Site) (Finance)

Ready to make an impact this summer? The Cigna Group'sHuman Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP)Summer Associate Internship is a 10-week immersive experience designed to launch your career in HR. You'll take on meaningful, high-impact projects aligned with our talent strategy, all while working side-by-side with experienced HR leaders across a variety of functions.

As an HRLDP Summer Associate, you won't just learn about Human Resources-you'll live it. We'll help you shape the career you want through hands-on work, mentorship, and exposure to senior leaders who are passionate about developing future HR trailblazers.

What You'll Experience:

Why It Matters:

  • This internship is more than a summer gig-it's your gateway to a full-time role in our HRLDP. Those who join us full-time will rotate through three dynamic HR roles (12 months each), gaining a 360° view of HR and building a strong foundation for leadership.

Who We're Looking For:

  • First-year Master's students in HR, Labor Relations, or MBA programs with an HR focus.
  • 1+ years of professional experience (HR experience preferred).
  • Strong relationship builders who thrive in a matrixed environment.
  • Curious, self-driven problem solvers with a passion for people.
  • Excellent communicators-both written and verbal.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
