As a Benefits Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day execution of assigned ES and benefit programs/plans.
Responsible for inputting, processing and maintaining employee records via HRIS system.
Process verifications of employment.
Process incoming medical documentation.
Sort incoming mail and distribute as needed.
Assist with processing of unemployment claims as needed.
Coordinate the assembly and distribution of the monthly service awards for employees.
Serve as back up for answering the Benefit Helpline.
Support the benefits specialists with program maintenance and execution.
Assist with various projects as needed

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Ability to listen effectively, focusing on the customer's needs with strong follow-through to ensure customer satisfaction.
Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication and listening skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and to adapt to a changing environment.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office products. The ability to navigate using internet browsers.
Ability to be flexible to meet changing priorities.
Strong organizational skills and follow through.
Competent with video conferencing platforms such as MS Teams and Zoom.
