Associate Service Engineer (Finance)
This Associate Service Engineerrole is located remotely within the assigned territory, preferably nearPortland, OR or Seattle, WA.
What is an Associate Service Engineer?
The Associate Service Engineer is responsible for providing engineering and product support to various internal and external customers. This position will allow you to get out from behind the desk and apply your technical knowledge and expertise to solve our customer's problems every day.
Upon hire, the Associate Service Engineer will participate in acomprehensive 6-month training program based in our World Headquarters in North Canton, Ohio. Through classroom and on-the-job training, you will be exposed to all aspects of Timken's Bearing and Power Transmission businesses, Timken's operating philosophies as well as our customers' applications. You will become the expert in the technical skills required to solve customer problems. Our training program is one of the most respected in the industry and prepares you for future success.
Upon completion of the training program, you will be placed intothe Pacific Northwest territory. You will work jointly with various Timken teams such as Sales, Quality, Manufacturing and Application Engineering to recognize customer needs and solve challenges. You will act as a trusted advisor for customers by identifying and understanding problems such as performing bearing damage analysis to identify root causes,providing solutions, promoting Timken products, andconducting technical trainings as needed.
