JOB PURPOSE: The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator supports the Regional Fleet Manager and assists the Fleet shops in planning, organizing and to oversee the implementation of an efficient fleet maintenance system for GARDAWORLD.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS.
Responsible for administering all current fleet shop policies and procedures.
Upload the appropriate information about unit/vehicle into the maintenance history system.
Interaction with vendors and shop supervisors for soliciting parts bids, purchasing items, receiving items, and managing supplies and inventories
Coding, processing parts invoices. Sending correspondence and follow-up with accounts payable, procurement and vendors. .
Interaction with fleet and operations management.
Assure regional assigned vehicles are in state compliance for registrations.
Use of computers and/or electronic equipment to fulfill job functions.
Create and maintain a database for accident record keeping.
Perform any duties and responsibilities that are within the scope of employment as assigned by the Regional Manager.
Other duties may be assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Basic computer skills
Technical knowledge a plus
Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form
Ability to listen to and understand customer needs
Repetitive motion - key boarding
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to operate office equipment to include electronic data entry devices.
The ability to function efficiently and effectively with minimal daily supervision.
Maintain a valid driver's license
This is a remote position with 5% to 10% traveling.
