As the Senior Staff AccountantatFluxergy, you will be directly involved in the companysAccounting and Financeactivities, as well as deeply involved with the companys long-term strategy. You will be responsible for the major portion of close and other Accounting related projects while working with a small but passionate team. This position requires a deep, in-depth knowledge ofGeneral Accounting and Excel. Responsibilities Specifically, you can be expected to complete the following tasks: Support the month-end close process: including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and performing account analysis.Gather purchasing information to determine if capitalization is required.Calculate Depreciation.Review engineering projects and keep in contact monthly with engineers/production to see which projects are ready to capitalize.Organize and conduct Fixed Asset audits.Organize and conduct Inventory audits.Calculate use tax monthly.Assist with system testing in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.Ad Hoc research, projects, and tasks are common.Perform other position related duties as needed. Requirements Experience demonstrating proficiency of GAAP.Proficient in Excel, experience with accounting ERP software, MS Dynamics preferred.Ability to remain flexible, re-prioritize, and respond to changing demands.Able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management.Able to work and operate independently and apply critical thinking to solve problems pragmatically. Experience 5+ years of related work experience, experience in manufacturing companies preferred. Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Job Type Full Time
