Role Overview 

As the Vendor Compliance Specialist I, you'll have a big mission. Your mission if you chose to accept it will be to generate leads, sell, and renew apartment leases in accordance with company and Fair Housing guidelines. You will be responsible for assuring the Company's standards are achieved and excellent customer service is delivered. You also understand the value of taking a moment to express gratitude to the village that helped to make it happen. As you can likely tell, 'how' things are done matters just as much as ‘what' is done here at B.HOM.  

Key Responsibilities 

  •  Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer.
  • Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Supports Operations Teams and other internal department team members by completing help desk tickets; track progress from creation through resolution adhering to the standard service level agreement (SLA).
  • Assists with identifying intermediate and advanced level support problems including timely communication to next-tier level of support.
  • Supports vendors to achieve and maintain “Approved” status in vendor credentialing platform and increase approval and enrollment ratings.
  • Manually set up vendors and manage updates to vendor profiles in property management system to match vendor credentialing platform.
  • Completes monthly enrollment/approval audits. Reports quarterly metrics to department leadership.
  • Supports implementation of vendor credentialing standards to new acquisitions.
  • Responsible for user and property administration for vendor credentialing platform to ensure it is always up to date.
  • Assist with Accounting Department's 1099 reconciliation year-end process.
  • Communicates effectively with leadership team, as well as other department team members regarding vendor compliance, progress on approvals, and status changes.
  • Manages security by taking proper precautions so that the users are allowed access to the necessary and appropriate applications within the vendor credentialing platform in accordance with SOX regulations and controls.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

You Have  

  •  Minimum of two (2) years of experience in multi-family industry
  • General knowledge of working in a ticketing system
  • General understanding of Entrata software and how it is used within the organization
  • Limited travel as needed.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self- motivated with attention to detail with a self-starter mentality
  • Highly organized and ability to efficiently direct your own workflow
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience employing good judgment and discretion with confidential information
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to work in an evolving, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to think critically and creatively in order to maximize operations efficiency
