IT Support Engineer (Information Technology)



We are hiring an IT Support Engineer.
The IT Support Engineer will use knowledge and specialized skills to implement technical solutions and provide high-quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, enterprise applications, and internally developed software.
You will be tasked with not only providing technical support to users, but also helping with projects such as equipment refreshes and new application rollouts. You will also assist in the development and maintenance of our internally developed software, using your insights from support to improve our applications. You will collaborate with other members of the IT team, including software developers, to provide and receive guidance as well as third-party vendors as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

User and System Support: Provide high-quality, customer-centric support for all hardware, software, and applications. This includes troubleshooting, resolving tickets, and performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on enterprise technology.

Infrastructure and Automation: Monitor enterprise infrastructure alerts and event logs. Research, propose, and implement solutions to reduce waste and improve efficiency, including creating and maintaining scripts to automate routine tasks.

Application Development and Collaboration: Assist the development team by contributing to in-house software, debugging new features, and providing feedback on supportability. Collaborate with IT and other teams on projects such as new application rollouts, equipment refreshes, and process improvements.

Process and Project Management: Perform work on and lead IT projects from start to finish. This involves creating and maintaining internal IT process documentation, as well as handling onboarding and off-boarding tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
Technical certifications in Windows 10/11, O365, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ preferred.
4+ years experience in a help desk, desk side support environment.
