Diagnose and repair heavy and medium duty trucks and trailers
Perform preventative and daily repairs
Inspects, operates and tests equipment to ensure proper functioning of truck equipment and components
Essential Education and Qualifications:
Must have the level of knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose, inspect and repair heavy trucks and trailers
Must have the ability to work and communicate effectively with managers and fellow employees
Preferred Skills:
Experience with engines, transmissions, drive train, dot inspections, air and electric brake operation and repair
Comfortable with newer truck emissions and electronic control systems
Physical Demands:
Requires endurance to stand, stoop, bend and work on and under trucks and trailers.
