Partners in Care is seeking a full time Home Care Aide/CNA for Hospice and Home Health.
The Certified Nursing Assistant is a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist. The aide practices within the scope of their practice defined by the State Board of Nursing.

Partners In Care is the oldest and finest hospice and home health organization in Central Oregon, emphasizing respect, compassion, and support within a family centered, full-service program. Partners In Care provides post-acute care to residents throughout a 10,000 square mile region of Central Oregon who are medically fragile, experiencing chronic and serious illness, recovering from surgery, or need end-of-life care at home or in our hospice in-patient facility called Hospice House. As an independent non-profit organization, Partners In Care works in close partnership with the patient or clients family, the community, and other care organizations to ensure quality care.
Job Responsibilities
Assists the patient with personal care, ambulation, and positioning as required.Performs housekeeping services that are necessary for the health and safety of the patient/family/caregiver.Provides guidance to the family/caregiver regarding personal care of the patient.Follows the guidelines for universal precautions when providing patient care and demonstrates proper techniques in application of infection control standards.Demonstrates a working knowledge of the dying process.Demonstrates excellent listening skills.Maintains strict confidentiality of patient/family/caregiver information.Provides for a safe environment for patients, guests, visitors, and employees.Adheres to all policies, procedures, and regulations regarding patient care, conduct, safety, fire, security, and risk management.Bilingual desired
