Insulation Technician (Finance)
Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Install batt and/or blow insulation in sidewall or ceiling assuring the quality, accuracy and completeness of the job; install poly or other vapor barrier.Load and unload product. Complete prep work, foam, and caulk when needed and clean-up of site after completion.Maintains high activity/productivity levels while operating with a sense of urgency, efficiency, and determination.Build and maintain effective business relationships with builders.If driving company vehicle, report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicle; Check vehicle to ensure mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order. Demonstrate decision-driving skills by safely delivering products in a timely manner in accordance with DOT regulations and damage-free.Perform other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned.
Education/Experience
High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 1-year insulation experience preferred
Other Requirements
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physicalWork morning/evening hours during the week, required weekends and overtimeMust have current DOT certification and valid, unrestricted Drivers licenseMaintenance of regular attendance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Able to work at heights, stilts, ladders and/or scaffolding.Able to use basic tools including utility knife, staple gun and power drills.Able to work with fiberglass insulation material, water glue in a spray application, foam and caulk.Verbal & Written Communication skills and map/GPS reading abilities.Ability to comply with daily job changes /schedules with a positive attitude.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Ability to work as an individual and as a team to meet delivery goals.Willing to obtain other training if deemed necessary in performance of responsibilities and continuing education.

Work is perform within jobsite and yard environment subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dustPerform activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materialsMust be able to safely squat, bend, climb, lift/carry up to 80 lbs., grasp, talk, hear, standing/walking for prolonged periodsReaching at or above shoulder level and below waist and have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment
