EHS Coordinator (Architecture)



The EHS Coordinator provides clerical and administrative support to the Environmental Health and Safety team at the Clara City and Hutchinson facilities. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance documentation, organizing training and audits, and assisting in communication and reporting related to workplace safety and environmental compliance.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assist the facility with compliance of all applicable company environmental, safety and health standards as well as all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Support and reinforce company environmental, health and safety practices, procedures, and programs at the facilities.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of safety training, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and document control for all EHS-related materials, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Coordinate the scheduling of EHS training sessions, New Hire Orientations, and track employee completion.
  • Support EHS team with internal and external audits by preparing materials and following up on corrective actions.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory compliance documents (e.g., OSHA, EPA reports).
  • Update and distribute safety communications including posters, announcements, and alerts.
  • Maintain inventory of personal protective equipment (PPE) and order supplies as needed.
  • Help track and update safety metrics and reports, such as near-miss logs, first-aid cases, and inspection results.
  • Serve as a point of contact for general safety-related inquiries and route issues to the appropriate EHS personnel.
  • Support emergency preparedness planning and maintain up-to-date documentation (e.g., evacuation maps, contact lists).

Position Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of Federal, State, and City Safety Regulations in compliance with OSHA and MNOSHA
  • Ability to multitask projects, priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
