Job Title: Growth Marketing Manager

Job Location: ADS Headquarters (Virginia Beach, VA) NOT REMOTE

Job Summary:

ADS is looking for an experienced marketer with a strategic, creative, mindset to drive growth at our mission-driven organization. The ideal candidate is a well-versed marketer and has a proven track record of executing and implementing growth strategies in the defense industry including but not limited to social media, SEO, and content creation. As Growth Marketing Manager, you'll make an impact by expanding our company's digital footprint and brand awareness. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's growth trajectory, utilizing your marketing expertise to identify and seize new opportunities, reach untapped markets, and strengthen our position as a leader in the defense sector.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy and Planning:

  • Design and implement creative marketing strategies to disseminate content; Identify, evaluate, execute, and measure marketing campaigns that drive sales pipeline, optimize demand funnel velocity, and raise brand awareness
  • Orchestrate digital content strategies across all online platforms, while managing content marketing

Brand Development and Positioning: 

  • Gain and maintain a working knowledge of ADS's target markets, customer personas, product and service offerings, and value proposition
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop an editorial calendar, and ensure deadlines are met;  Manage a team of external resources to ensure brand cohesion

Content Management:

  • Create, edit, proofread, and improve existing content; Support internal stakeholders including Events, Sales, and Supplier relationship teams in their content development needs
  • Organize and lead relationships with third-party providers; Review all content and provide feedback to ensure the final product meets company goals

Social Media/SEO:

  • Manage Social Media channels including calendar and content; measure 
  • Optimize ADS's online presence through SEO, digital advertising, paid social, and other integrated campaigns

Analysis and Budget Management:

  • Oversee, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to better optimize spend and performance, draw insights & make data-driven decisions; and allocate resources to initiatives that deliver the highest return on investment.

Requirements:

  • Data-driven and highly analytical; Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 5+ years professional experience, 3+ of experience B2B/B2G marketing in defense industry
  • Strong knowledge of defense industry trends, and customer needs
  • Track record of leading and executing successful marketing initiatives that include social campaigns, content marketing, and website optimization
  • Excellent communication and writing skills; Strong proofreading, editing, project management, and organizational skills
  • Hands-on experience in digital marketing tools and platforms
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage ambiguities
