Heres your opportunity:
This position will be responsible for TIG and MIG welding techniques to join materials together for specified product. Specializing in thin gauge material and more basic welds. Adheres to safety and quality standards.

This is a 1st shift opportunity. The shift is 5:00am to 1:30pm

Heres how youll contribute:
Joins metal parts together per engineered specifications using heatUses basic MIG and TIG weld techniquesReads blueprints and drawings to plan layout and proceduresSets up components/parts for welding according to specifications Basic understanding of all required equipment setups*Basic understanding of applicable computer programs*Meets production rates* Proficient in all Standard Operating Procedures for Department/Cell* Proficient understanding of department specific tools and measuring equipment* Sustains inventory and parts replenishment systems Completes Industrial Lift Truck Certification (if needed)Supports Continuous ImprovementSupports new product introductions
* Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Heres why we want you:
High school diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years vocational school a plus. Requires basic knowledge of welding methods and techniques, material characteristics and fit-up procedures. Must have on-the-job training plus 1-3 years of welding experience at a previous company
