Application Programmer/Analyst I (Information Technology)
Boise Cascade is looking for an Application Programmer/Analyst to join the Information Technology Team in Southern Oregon! Please review the responsibilities and qualifications below.
Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization while resolving production problems and user calls. Logically diagnose and solve software and hardware problems in a Microsoft environment. Provide operation and technical support for business applications. Provide system development for projects such as new reports or systems enhancements.
Qualifications:
Required A college degree or equivalent work experience in related job function. Programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript, C# and experience with web development, preferably .NET. Knowledge of business functional areas and its supporting applications systems, technical platform capabilities, structural systems design methodology, the principles of systems design, on-line design and database design and the ability to plan and conduct user interviews. Experience in data analysis, accessing data via SQL queries and report design.
Preferred Manufacturing operations knowledge and experience with SCADA (Inductive Automation) is a strong plus.
