Building Automation Service Technician (Finance)

What You'll Do

As an HVAC Building Automation Service Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing complex Building Automation Systems (BAS) for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Service and maintain HVAC BAS to ensure peak performance and reliability.
  • Diagnose and repair control system malfunctions using your expertise in electronic and digital systems.
  • Assist in installing sensors, controllers, and actuators.
  • Program and configure BAS controllers using manufacturer-specific tools.
  • Communicate clearly with clients on-site, providing updates and recommendations.
  • Deliver training and support to ensure customer satisfaction and system understanding.
  • Maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and maintenance.
  • Provide sketches and documentation to support engineering updates and commissioning.
  • Recommend system upgrades and enhancements based on performance insights.

What You Bring

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Technical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in HVAC controls, troubleshooting, and BAS programming (Function Block, Script, Graphics).
  • Familiarity with BACnet, LON, MODBUS , and other communication protocols.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office , VISIO , and file structures.
  • Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
