Industrial Engineer (Finance)

As the Industrial Engineer at Fluxergy, you will be directly involved in the company's Production activities, as well as deeply involved with the company's long-term strategy. You will be responsible for process improvement, scale up and capacity planning while working with a small but passionate team. This position requires a deep, in-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies.
Responsibilities
Utilizes Lean/TPS and/or Six Sigma techniques to research, identify, and test innovative concepts and eliminate waste in critical performance areas.
Performs time studies to verify labor standards.
Collaborates with finance department to establish cost measurements and productivity standards for the facility.
Creates and maintains value stream maps for the production facilities
Represent production department in ongoing ERP, MES and other ongoing system integration.
Analyzes, creates and implements manufacturing and/or business process improvements that increase capacity, reduce lead-time, reduce work in process.
Creates KPI dashboards
Implements SPC to analyzer trends, set up automated triggers and notification systems of the manufacturing and business processes .
Support Gage R&R studies, V&V activities, DFM, NCR and CAPA procedures.
Requirements
Experience in the design, optimization & integration of machine vision systems, conveyors, bar code readers, s/w & sensors into efficient & reliable production automation systems.
Proficient in Solidworks PDM software.
Must be capable of working independently.
Knowledge of GD&T, basic electro-mechanical systems.
Knowledge of PFMEA, Process Flow, Control charts.
Strong hands on electrical/mechanical aptitude.
Ability to use power tools and measuring tools.
Experience
Minimum : 1 year
Preferred : 3 years
Education
Minimum : Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
Preferred : Masters' degree in Industrial Engineering
