A role you will love The Production Manager will be reporting directly to the National Operations Manager, the purpose of the role is to coordinate the activities of the Computershare Communication Services Edison NJ production site. This includes managing various departments in the production of transactional documents for distribution to shareholders and customers. It also includes management of various vendors and business partners who support the operation.
Responsible for the oversight of a mega Print/Mail/Warehouse facility producing over 100 million mail packs annually. Includes a multi-shift operation and facility, often times expanding to 24/7 for major projects. Requires management of a significant diversity of equipment and other resources to successfully execute the process. Requires broad knowledge and management oversight of multiple complex functions that represent end to end operating processes (warehouse, material management, data processing, print, mail, lodgement, logistics). Possesses a knowledge of all operating systems used in production
Manages a large core staff and agency personnel that can be on-boarded on any given day/shift of approx. 200 individuals. Impeccable engagement skills are required to interact with highly diverse staff that speak multiple languages and have unique cultural nuances. Responsible for oversight of overtime and agency expenses.
Coordinates with clients, account managers and other stakeholders of the business. Supports client facility tours, including process definition. Able to interact with Senior Managers within the organization and externally to coordinate projects.
Interacts with Quality & Risk Dept. to ensure service standards are met/exceeded. Ensures compliance with all Risk, Audit, and Regulatory requirements. Able to respond quickly to quality and risk issues as they arise.
Manages vendor activities including invoice review and approval. Interfaces with Purchasing on custom project needs. Coordinates with key vendors for paper, envelopes, forms to ensure cost effective operations. Plays a major role in equipment selection in all areas of operation to ensure contemporary capability and investment return. Manages the group's annual budget plan. Develops strategic and financial plans for the operating areas.
Fully supports the National Operations Manager in their absence. Participates in facility readiness/improvements to support production requirements. Participates in major CCS initiatives as needed.

Leadership & management skills gained from working in a print/mail facility
Understanding of work routines and procedures especially within defined technical and operational procedures of a print and mail operation
Experience with managing Service Level Agreements in a high-quality environment
Coordinating and managing all daily activities of the operations and ensuring the highest quality standards are being met.
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work with multiple departments to achieve business unit objectives
