National Indoor Mapping Services Lead - CTS (Remote) (Finance)



Job Summary

The National Indoor Mapping Services Lead is responsible for leading and growing the National Indoor Mapping Practice as well as supporting established services within the Infrastructure practice, Federal Programs and Services, and Consulting and Technology Solutions (CTS). Working with other company technical teams, DATAMARK and the National Data Collection and Analysis Director, the National Indoor Mapping Services Lead will initiate work from identified business opportunities and oversee delivery of indoor mapping projects and products.

The National Indoor Mapping Services Lead will work closely with the other Directors within CTS by extending and integrating Indoor Mapping offerings into their strategies. It is expected that the National Indoor Mapping Services Lead will be driving sales and competitive differentiation for Michael Baker in the markets we serve.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the achieving revenue and growth targets for the Indoor Mapping Practice.
  • Overall responsibility for the identification, pursuit and winning of Indoor Mapping Projects
  • Responsible for ensuring marketing and messaging aligns with campaigns and pursuits.
  • Responsible for ensuring every pursuit or campaign is appropriately resourced to maximize likelihood of success.
  • Build trusted working relationships across the regional business development and technical leadership of the Infrastructure and Federal verticals to ensure Consulting and Technology Solutions are engaged on strategic pursuits and campaigns.
  • Develop, maintain, and grow client relationships for the purpose of acting as a client advocate, educator, and technical expert with the goal of executing services and product contracts.
  • Ensure the opportunity pipeline is accurate and up to date.
  • Support other service lines that have existing client relationships and leverages those relationships in search of growth opportunities.
  • Work with the technical team to provide client deliverables to ensure on-time project execution.
  • Maintain a strong foundation of technical knowledge and support knowledge development of internal and external technical resources.
  • Remain highly visible in industry roles to maintain a high profile. Attend major conferences and present as a thought leader as appropriate.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with small businesses and other providers who can give CTS a competitive edge in winning and delivering work.
  • Identify potential business development opportunities that are professionally challenging, bring recognition to Michael Baker on a local, regional and national basis.
  • Drive the enhancement of the Indoor Mapping product line by soliciting and providing client and industry feedback to the product owner.
  • Provide exemplary leadership and serve as a role model for others.
  • Be an innovative thinker, always considering the 'next next' for the Indoor Mapping Practice.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Leadership of the Indoor Mapping Practice.
  • Direct supervisory responsibility of business development and subject matter experts associated with the Indoor Mapping Practice.
  • Lead direct reports in 2022 to grow the vertical and meet NNWA and revenue targets.
  • Mentorship of appropriate technical and business development resources

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a geospatial science, information technology, engineering, or related discipline required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive responsibility in system development/configuration, of which at least 5 years was spent leading the designing and implementing complex process-centric business systems.
  • Experience in technical delivery of Enterprise Solutions, LiDAR Solutions, Business Systems Analysis, Systems Integration or Asset Management solutions.
  • Experience with the full Esri technology stack, specific ArcGIS Indoors experience is a plus.
  • Specific experience in the Engineering and Construction industry required. Experience with influential leadership of diverse and remote teams preferred.

  • Solid understanding of CTS offerings and technologies and the ability to combine options to best meet customer needs. Solid understanding of solutions development and project management lifecycle methodologies.

  • Ability to identify unique solutions to business issues and customer needs through a detailed understanding of business processes and systems while being able to re-use Technical Engineering standard solutions.

Travel

Travel up to 30% may be required.

Compensation

The general salary range for this position is $125,000-$175,000.
