Warehouse Lead (Finance)
Job Duties
- Ensure a safe, clean and productive work environment for self and other team members.
- Review daily shipment schedule and with other team members plan and prioritize daily work schedule to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Alerts team members to any special truck loading configurations or customer delivery requirements
- Directs daily activities of the warehouse.
- Such activities include shipping, receiving, sanitation maintenance and inventory
- Fabrication / alteration of products.
- Reviews daily inventory of goods in warehouse against anticipated delivery schedules to minimize amount of handling and damage to finished product.
- Ensure that all OSHA requirements and certificates are properly displayed and adhered to Light driving duties.
- Maintains positive customer relationships and always maintains exceptional customer service.
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from timeto time at their sole and complete discretion.Experience
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in warehousing, including inventory handling and logistics is required.
Preferred Experience
Warehousing experience in door industry or construction preferred. Prior leadership or supervisory experience
Education
A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
Required Skills
- Forklift certification required, or willingness to obtain through company-provided training
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, including material staging, inventory management, and shipping/receiving procedures
- Familiarity with garage door components, track systems, and related hardware is a plus
- Proficient in basic computer skills and inventory software; experience with handheld scanners or tablets preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to delegate effectively and collaborate across teams
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lead by example, train new team members, and promote best practices in safety and efficiency
Work Conditions
- This position operates in a warehouse environment and involves frequent physical activity.
- Employees are required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift or move items up to 75 pounds throughout the shift.
- The work environment may be subject to temperature changes, including non-climate-controlled areas during summer and winter months.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and moving mechanical equipment is common.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, must be worn at all times.
- Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend shifts based on operational needs.
- Overtime may be required during peak periods.

- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
