Clinician I/II - Los Baños (Finance)
Graduation from an accredited graduate program with major in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or other related degree required. These degrees must be license eligible (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).
One year of experience in a treatment setting preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Sound personal qualifications (i.e. maturity, stability, high moral standards).
Current Board of Behavioral Sciences registration or license.
Essential Job Functions:

Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Ability to instruct in group and individual settings.
Physical, mental and emotional health adequate to perform duties.
Must possess knowledge of mental health programs and community resources.
Adhere to all applicable legal and ethical standards.
Ability to work effectively with cultural/ethnic diversity.
Ability to work at various locations, including client homes, schools and community settings.
Effectively use de-escalation skills and techniques for crisis prevention.
Properly Administer the C-SSRS to help prevent suicide.
Due to the State Public Health Officer Order of August 5, 2021: COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate, this position works in a designated health care facility that requires workers to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Workers may be exempt based upon qualifying medical reasons or religious beliefs but will be subject to weekly diagnostic screening testing.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct clinical services to clients.
Provide assessment and treatment planning for clients.
Provide group, individual, family, and collateral clinical services for clients.
Provide school consultation when appropriate.
Keep comprehensive clinical records that meet standards of the agency, The Joint Commission and contract.
Collaborate with the referring agency or other community agencies working with the client to coordinate treatment.
Collect outcome data, including consumer satisfaction surveys, as required by the agency and contract.
Must implement program goals and objectives to meet and maintain contractual requirements and productivity.
Participate in monthly peer review.
Report any suspected child abuse immediately to direct supervisor or utilize the chain of command if supervisor is not available.
Report any suspected dependent adult/elder abuse immediately to direct supervisor or utilize the chain of command if supervisor is not available.
Report any imminent danger to self or danger to others to direct supervisor or utilize the chain of command if supervisor is not available.
Attend staff meetings and trainings.
Properly administer the C-SSRS to help prevent suicide
