Summary
The MDM lead reports to the Director of Data Management and is a key resource to the execution and operations of the company's Master Data Management (MDM) strategy. The MDM lead provides leadership, facilitation, analysis and design tasks for the development and ongoing expansion of the organization's MDM solution. Given the nature of MDM solutions, deep experience with data architecture and data modeling will be a requirement for the successful candidate. The MDM lead contributes and sets enterprise-wide data standards, performs conceptual and logical modeling for data workflow and overseas master data initiatives to ensure consistent usage and adoption of standards. The MDM lead is responsible for working with both functional and technical personnel to gather, manage, model and document the detailed data requirements for master data solutions. The MDM lead may be called upon to lead other data architecture initiatives related to enterprise solutions as directed by the Director of Data Management.
The successful candidate for this role will have 7 or more years working in a similar capacity with excellent communication skills and knowledge with one or more master data management platforms. Knowledge and expertise with Talend is highly desirable.
