Building Maintenance & Repair Associate (Maintenance)

Receives and completes work orders and instructions from supervisor according to prioritized needs.

Performs a variety of building maintenance activities using appropriate knowledge of tools and equipment.

Performs plumbing and electrical trade functions to include installation, maintenance and repair of small equipment.

Performs bi-annual shop inspection for all locations and notifies management concerning the need for major repairs.

Communicates with management to coordinate activities with outside vendors for maintenance issues that exceed the capacity of the department.

Participates as a core committee safety officer.

Maintains work site, equipment and supplies in good working order and secures the work site at the end of each day.

Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.

Orders maintenance supplies for the completion of special projects and maintains all related receipts and documentation.

Education/Experience:

High School diploma or GED; and two to four years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid driver's license
