What you will do
The Territory Manager for the Northern CA region will develop relationships and credibility with our customer base, which includes our contractor customers and supply chain partners within the assigned region, which includes the area from Fresno up to Redding, and San Francisco east to Reno. You will be responsible for sales growth, profitability, customer service, issue resolution, new product introduction and industry involvement.
How you will do it
Effectively call on the local contractor community within assigned region.
Achieve yearly revenue targets and sales goals.
Develop account goals and business plans for key and target customers that are in alignment with our overall channel strategy.
Monitor and manage price strategy to align with the current market conditions.
Report business forecasts and participate in team calls both internally and with channel partners.
Ensure new products are introduced effectively and in a timely manner.
Ensure new product ideas/suggestions are brought to product management.
Coordinate training at all levels for the customer base.
Be an active participant in industry associations.
Enter all sales activities in Salesforce.com.
What we look for
Required
Minimum 3+ years' sales experience with expertise in fire sprinklers
High energy, self-starter with the ability to represent our Company with the utmost integrity.
Political savvy across the customer organization and Company.
Effective, strong communication with Senior Regional Manager, and internal and external business partners.
Strong business acumen and ability to adapt to customer needs.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Team player who encourages collaboration.
Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Minimum 75% market travel time within territory required for customer facings, training, product presentation, etc.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field of study is preferred
