High End Retail Security Officer (Finance)



Job Description

Shifts Available:
1 part-time officer : Sun,Mon-7PM-3AM/Tues-12pm-8pm
1 part-time officer : Wed12pm - 8pm/Thurs-Fri 3am-11am
This post requires a strong individual who can work independently. You will continuously have encounters with people who are homeless, on the use of narcotics, carrying weapons, looking to cause vandalism. If you believe you are capable of commanding this post, APPLY NOW!

Security Officer Responsibilities - The responsibilities of a Security Officer may vary from day to day. The following list contains, but is not limited to, common responsibilities for a Security Officer:

Foot patrols of the Coverage Area.
Monitoring access control and challenging those without proper identification.
Maintaining Lost and Found.
Greeting employees, guests, and contractors.
Documenting incidents with an incident report.
Assisting ill or injured employees, contractors, and or guests.
Investigating strange noises or smells.
Responding to 911 misdials and actual emergencies.
Investigating fire alarms.
Dealing with power outages or power dips.
Crowd control and evacuation assistance during building emergencies.

Security Officer Qualifications:

Must have or be able to possess a valid California Guard License
Must be comfortable with discussing and upholding client entrance requirements (restrictions apply)
Must have a minimum of three year verifiable and successful security experience
Six (6) months or more experience involving direct customer interaction
De-Escalation Skills
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
Effective oral and written communication skills
Active listening skills
Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
Attention to detail
Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable state, county, and municipal requirements.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.00 per hour
