Academic Operations Program Manager (Education)



SUMMARY

The Academic Operations Program Manager is responsible for providing academic and operations support to campus-based academic programs, Regional Deans and National Dean of Nursing and the National Academic Dean as well as senior management at the Campus Support Center. This includes monitoring effectiveness of nursing and non-nursing education, gathering, and synthesizing data relevant to efficient program operations and coordination of submissions to state and other regulatory agencies. This position will participate in monitoring Concorde academic programs to ensure that outcomes, regulatory, state, and accrediting requirements are being met. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and maintain library of accrediting body standards in reference to nursing and academic programs
  • Provide programmatic support to ensure that all annual reports and other regulatory submissions are completed and submitted in a timely manner
  • Write, edit, and submit accreditation applications and respond to communications from various accrediting bodies
  • Assist with the completion and submission of new program applications
  • Create and maintain a master projects calendar to include project timelines for all accreditation activities and projects ensuring stakeholders are held accountable for meeting deadlines
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of nursing guidebooks including but not limited to: student, faculty, lab/clinical, and simulation guidebooks
  • Research, track and monitor student progress throughout the programs including relevant exit exams and overall programmatic licensure pass rates
  • Attend all committee calls and meetings and ensure that adequate meeting minutes are recorded and archived
  • Develop, generate, and maintain reports and timelines associated with all nursing projects
  • Gather and analyze data in relation to program development, improvement, and effectiveness
  • Assist campuses in preparing for accreditor and regulatory site visits
  • Assist in coordinating and executing a comprehensive assessment system to include curriculum mapping and systematic plan of evaluation
  • Complete other projects and duties as assigned
  • Bachelors in education, nursing or management required, masters degree preferred
  • Minimum of five years experience with programmatic accreditation
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to work with and build consensus and cooperation within a diverse population

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Travel as required. Less than 10% each month.
