Programs and Initiatives Manager - Cancer Center (Healthcare)



POSITION INFORMATION: Manages, coordinates, and develops grant sponsored programs and initiatives.

 

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:

  1. Direction. Provides direction and support for department programs and initiatives. Proactively addresses issues involving the department programs. Identifies new opportunities and develops programs and initiatives to take advantage of those opportunities.
  2. Community Liaison. Establishes relationships with the outside community as well as with other departments on campus. Facilitates the involvement of community organizations as well as campus departments.
  3. Report Preparation. Prepares regular reports on the activities and prepares special reports as needed.
  4. Activity Coordination. Coordinates activities with department members.
  5. Communication. Interfaces with department management and OUHSC faculty, alumni, professionals, administrators, and the general public.
  6. As Needed.  Performs various tasks as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.

 

Experience: 24 months administrative experience.

 

Equivalent/Substitution: Will Accept 48 months of equivalent experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree for a total of 72 months experience.
