Forklift Driver (Finance)
Job Description:
Mars Horsecare is looking for a Forklift Driver at the Dalton, Ohio location
What will be my required shift?
1st Shift: Monday- Friday 7am-3pm
*Flexible pending business needs
Job Purpose:
The Forklift Driver position is a key role in the production process and is responsible for unloading the production lines and place product in correct areas of the warehouse.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Forklift experience
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-2,000 lbs)
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping
- Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum 8 hours in one shift)
- Ability to work in hot, cold and wet environments
- Ability to understand, communicate, read, and write in English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Shipping or warehouse experience
- Forklift certified
- Experience with ERP systems
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Taking pallets of product to the wrapper or unloading wrapper and placing product in correct spot for the shipping department.
- Organizing incoming pallets
- Programming the correct product to be run into the robot cells
- Work side by side with shipping associates to keep warehouse organized.
