The Housing Finance Policy Center covers issues such as access to mortgage credit, housing affordability, the structure of the secondary mortgage market, and the government role in regulating and supporting the housing finance system. The center's research is focused on the connection between the housing finance system, communities, as well as people and outcomes.
The Urban Institute's Housing Finance Policy Center (HFPC) is looking for a Project Administrator to support center operations, provide executive assistance, support project management efforts, and help coordinate meetings and events. Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Project Administrator will work closely to assist with key business operations and administrative components of the center.

The successful candidate will:
Possess a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience providing administrative assistance, business operational support, or development support in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate interest in business operations, development, or project management through prior work experience, involvement in volunteer programs, leadership positions in academic and/or extra-curricular settings or an administrative or office support-related internship.
Be well-organized, highly motivated, and able to work effectively on multiple tasks and priorities at once.
Display excellent oral and written communication skills.
Exhibit the initiative to suggest improvements or innovations on assigned tasks.
Have familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
