Lead Semiconductor Technician (Finance)



As a Lead Semiconductor Technician here at Honeywell, you will be instrumental in overseeing the semiconductor manufacturing process, ensuring optimal quality and efficiency in production. Your leadership and technical expertise will be vital in maintaining our cutting-edge facilities and fostering innovation in our processes.

You will report directly to our Production Manager and you'll work out of our Richardson, TX location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact production efficiency and quality assurance by leading troubleshooting efforts, conducting tests, and implementing process improvements, thereby contributing to the overall success of our semiconductor operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead advanced troubleshooting and maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Conduct tests and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements and optimize production efficiency.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques specific to semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in a manufacturing environment.

  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in a cleanroom environment and knowledge of cleanroom protocols.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

  • Lead a team of technicians in the semiconductor manufacturing process, ensuring smooth and efficient production
  • Oversee all aspects of semiconductor manufacturing operations, including fabrication, testing, and quality control
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure strict compliance with quality standards and regulations, conducting regular audits to uphold the highest standards of product quality and reliability
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, fostering their professional development and ensuring a high level of expertise within the department
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices
