About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician I, you'll be responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of our units, common areas, pools, and resort property. You'll respond to guest needs, troubleshoot technical issues, and keep everything running smoothly to ensure a five-star experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance in guest rooms, buildings, pools, and common areas

  • Repair and troubleshoot carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems

  • Install and maintain appliances

  • Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce guest impact

  • Respond to and resolve maintenance-related safety issues

  • Maintain property cleanliness and functionality (trash pickup, mopping spills, cleaning exterior fixtures, etc.)

  • Prioritize and complete daily work orders; stay in contact with the front desk and management

  • Assist with pool maintenance, exterior cleaning, and property preparation for inclement weather

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Certifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • CPO and EPA certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Experience

  • 2–4 years of general maintenance experience or equivalent technical training

Knowledge & Skills

  • Working knowledge of hand and power tools

  • Strong troubleshooting ability for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment

  • Effective oral communication

  • Friendly, guest-first approach

  • Must have a valid driver's license
