Facilities Management Operations and Marketing Manager (Sales)



Summary of Job:

Facilities Management Operations and Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring that all back-office operations and marketing initiatives align with the strategic objectives of FM2 and Lee Company. This role will lead and manage financial processes, including billing, purchase orders, budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategy. The position requires regular analysis of departmental performance, P&L reporting, and risk mitigation.

In addition, this role acts as the primary liaison between FM and the Marketing team, ensuring that all marketing content and deliverables meet business needs and drive growth. The Manager will conduct in-depth market research, oversee digital marketing performance, and support business development through targeted campaigns and competitive analysis. A strong understanding of commercial facilities, digital marketing, and accounting principles is essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure back-office management and marketing for FM2 align with strategic goals for FM2 and Lee Company.
  • Oversee departmental budget management, ensuring expenditures align with financial goals, and review monthly operating statements for accuracy.
  • Establish and monitor financial metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Conduct monthly P&L analysis at the Account and FD levels.
  • Oversee the accounts receivable process and ensure it's documented, defined, and effectively managed.
  • Perform full-year forecast updates for FM2.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
  • Conduct competitor pricing analysis and adjust company pricing to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Develop and enforce Administrative SOPs.
  • Ensure marketing deliverables are consistent with FM needs and expectations.
  • Develop, document, and manage billing and purchase order (PO) processes for each account.
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing metrics to drive strategic decisions and improvements.
  • Act as the primary liaison between FM and the Marketing team, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing content and proposals associated with FM2 products.
  • Integrate market research insights to support commercial and facility property management objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to support business operations and marketing initiatives.
  • Understand the needs and trends in commercial facilities.
  • Optimize the property management strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts, focusing on operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure property management and operational goals are met.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field ​
  • 3 years experience in Business Operations Manager, Marketing Manager, Business Operations Specialist, Marketing Specialist or related occupation

Skills and Abilities:

  • Prior experience in digital marketing, strong understanding of Accounting Principles, and prior market research experience with commercial facilities or property management required.
