Job DescriptionSummary/General Job Description:
Associates degree with 2 years college level Chemistry and/or Physics preferred, or 4+ years' experience as a laboratory technician in the electronic materials or related industry. Knowledge of common laboratory safety practices. Ability to read, write and speak English.
Generally travel is not expected or required, but travel to customers or technical conference may occur as needed by the business.
Physical Demands: Must be in good physical condition, be able to lift up to 20 lbs, expend up to 8 hours per day standing and walking in the lab, and have good hearing and vision. Must be able to give verbal reports and short presentations of work.
Environmental, Health & Safety Requirements: This position shall maintain compliance with all Federal, State and Local Environmental, Health & Safety Regulations, at all times. The employee in this position shall maintain compliance with all Ferro Safety Standards as well as EHS rules/requirements of the site at all times.
