Learning Experience Designer (LX/UX)

We need an experience designer with strong UX skills and experience who can ensure that the voice of the learner is present by incorporating feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design.

As a learning experience designer, you would be supporting the stand up of a new learning program and collaborate frequently with instructional designers, graphic artists and developers. You would also support the customization and maturation of a new online learning platform. Join us as we humanize the online learning experience!
Responsibilities:
• Uphold internally developed learning experience principles and common UX principles
• Advocate for learners and maintain a strong commitment to a great user experience
• Conduct learner discovery using UX methodologies (interviews, focus groups, metrics analysis, card sorting, etc.)
• Quickly and iteratively create personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and low and high-fidelity mockups based on business requirements, learner journeys, feedback, and usability findings
• Support and iterate on the design of a months-long online learning journey, and identify ways to increase engagement
• Align with instructional designers, accessibility designers and visual artists in design sprints
• Communicate with product and engineering teams, as well as business stakeholders and executive leadership
• Analyze usage and performance of digital assets to iterate on products and optimize the learner experience
Qualifications:
• Deep knowledge of UX principles and methodologies
• Strong experience with prototyping tools required
• Professional experience supporting training providers, learning product design, educational enterprise software or Learning and Development function is highly desirable.
• Some knowledge of how instructional designers use learning principles to engage, instruct, coach, and support learners in a digital environment strongly preferred
• Experience standing up new enterprise software preferred
