Material Handler, Warehouse (Finance)



Keep things moving-literally. As a Material Handler at MacLean-Fogg in Mundelein, IL, you'll play a key role in making sure our production team has what they need, when they need it. You'll be loading, moving, and tracking materials using forklifts, scanners, and warehouse systems to keep operations running smoothly and safely. Job Details
  • Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)
  • Pay Rate: $22.50/hour
  • Location: Mundelein, Illinois (Onsite)
  • Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Mon-Fri)
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and load shipments accurately to meet production schedules
  • Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PITs)
  • Use warehouse systems and technology (JDE, RFS, RF scanners) to track inventory
  • Stock, move, and organize inbound and outbound materials
  • Load/unload trucks efficiently and safely
  • Deliver raw materials to production areas to avoid downtime
  • Perform inventory counts and help maintain accurate stock levels
  • Check all incoming materials for damage and proper labeling
  • Keep work areas organized, safe, and in compliance with company procedures

Qualifications (Required)
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 0-2 years in a warehouse, production, or material handling role
  • Ability to follow directions, ask questions, and work safely
Qualifications (Preferred)
  • Certifications: Forklift Certification (Sit-down, Stand-up, Reach Truck)
Physical Requirements :
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Required to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending and stooping required.
  • Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
  • Must be able to work in noisy environments.
