Pay:Starting paying is $16.00 per hour

Position Summary:

Nationwide Uniform (by Fechheimer) in Hodgenville, KY, is seeking a Trim Inventory Control Specialist. The Trim Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits, and collaborating with team members to optimize inventory levels. This role ensures the integrity of inventory data through cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and reporting. The position also supports label and ticket printing and assists with contractor kitting as needed.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will be required to...

  • Conduct cycle counts using handheld scan guns and update inventory records in D365.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Generate and maintain detailed inventory reports for management.
  • Print labels and tickets accurately for production and shipping needs.
  • Assist with contractor kitting and related inventory tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize inventory flow and accuracy.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrates a strong internal drive to maintain inventory accuracy and meet performance goals.
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software, including D365 and handheld scanning devices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable using technology to monitor inventory and productivity metrics.
  • Eager to learn new systems and cross-train on related inventory functions.
  • Patient and persistent, maintaining accuracy through repetitive tasks and inventory challenges.
  • Resilient and adaptable, demonstrating determination to improve processes and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in inventory control or related field.
  • Proficiency in inventory software and databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:
  • Positional: Frequent standing, walking, and occasional sitting.
  • Gross Mobility: Ability to bend, reach, lift up to 30 lbs., and move inventory bins.
  • Sensory: Visual acuity for scanning and reading labels; verbal communication with team members.
