Under the leadership of the VP of Long-Term Care and oversight of the Director of Life Engagement, carries out the life engagement program in the Long Term Care facility to develop and provide a wide variety and selection of activities, which reflect the residents' past and current leisure interests; providing adaptation as necessary to facilitate physical, mental and psychosocial well-being. Requirements: Applicant must possess experience in geriatric group leadership and psychosocial documentation/charting skills. Requires proficient group dynamic skills, ability to multitask, competent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of cognition and approaches to assist residents in reaching their documented goals needs to be an organizer and a pre-planner.Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant (NA/R) is a plus. Minimum Starting Wage: $12.85 per hour; you may be eligible for a higher rate of pay based on transferable skills and/or direct work experience.
