Senior Financial Analyst (Project Management)

Assist the Financial Planning and Reporting Manager to provide timely and accurate financial analysis/reporting and complete quarterly/annual planning processes for the respective business unit. Assist with project capital (AFE) reporting and management.  Perform ad-hoc analysis and complete special projects. Focus on process improvement and efficiency.    

  • Analyze financial statements and investigate deviations and trends
  • Participate in the month end close and forecast/budget processes
  • Prepare and present the monthly financial performance of the business unit
  • Create board materials and other ad-hoc requests and presentations upon request
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel in order to facilitate the timely flow 
  • Coordinate, prepare and review models for capital expenditures and bid models
  • Drive continuous improvement in the group and implement efficient and effective procedures; correctly document all processes
  • Assumes other duties and responsibilities as required

  • 5-8 years of experience
  • Extended periods of work may be required during financial reporting close.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and meet goals and deadlines.
  • Computer skills required – job entails working with several software applications
  • Strong analytical skills and accounting technical knowledge
  • Good written and verbal communication skills required
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proven ethics, professionalism and discretion
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance (preferred)
